How Can spotting Along With Lower Abdominal Cramps Be Treated?

Hi Doc, i am experiencing severe pain in my lower abdomen and pubic floor everytime i wanted to fart ( hard to), relived when gas is out. i went tru 2 cs, on the 2nd time my ob informed me of a severe endometriosis, but she decided not to touch it during cs for fear of blood loss that she might not control. i also experience mid cycle spotting and dysmenorrhea. I will visit ob today, but wanted to know if i should consider non reproductive system Dx?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it is due to dysmenorrhea.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like mefenamic acid for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult a gynaecologist and plan for an ultrasound scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
